Pink Floyd were a British rock band born in mid-60s which as re-written musical trends of their time, beginning one of more important bands in History. The first period of their story they were a Psychedelic-Space rock band, then they became an Experimental rock band, exploring various genres merging them together (like Progressive rock bands of 70s). The band was born in London in 1965 by the singer-guitarist Roger Keyth "Syd" Barrett, the bassist George Roger Waters, the drummer Nicholas Berkeley "Nick" Mason and by the keyboard player Richard William "Rick" Wright. The guitarist David Jon "Dave" Gilmour joined the band since December 1967, replacing Barrett, which became progressively outcast due to massive drug-using.
Born in Bari (Italy) in 2006, The Floydians Tribute Band is in constant growing, trying to repropose the unique, magic Pink Floyd sound as close as the original. The band has played in the best stages of Apulia and other Regions of Southern Italy, satisfying an audience getting bigger and bigger. Every gig isn't only music, but also visual effects, an "all-arond show" for ears, eyes and mind. Durga McBroom-Hudson and Scott Page, backing vocals and saxophone of Pink Floyd since "A momentary lapse of reason tour" of 1989 joined the band as a guest star in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.
